In this article, I'm going to outline some of the “Best Video Editing Software” available on the market and which video editing software package may be the option for you.
As a filmmaker, I have used all the industry standards, but before we summarise what could be considered the best video marketing software, there are a few different things to consider:
- What do you want to achieve?
- Will the software do what you want it to?
- Will the software be too complicated to learn?
- What is a good price?
The industry standard for video editing software is Final Cut Pro for Mac and Adobe Premiere Pro for PC users.
This software provides all the features you need – and 90% of what you don't need as an Online Business Owner. They are also priced around $720 – which is expensive if you don't use the full functionality.
The sensible options:
For Mac users, Final Cut Express will have the functionality you need, is relatively easy to learn, and at a good price.
For PC users, there's an abundance of video editing software available, my choice is Sony Vegas Movie Studio.
My Personal Recommendations for Choosing The Best Video Editing Software
Mac users
Final Cut Pro or Final Cut Express.
PC Users
My video editing software of choice is Sony Vegas. I began using it for two reasons –
It was stable and reliable
I had a resource to learn how to use it
The Professional Sony Vegas video editing suite package is priced around £600. I currently use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 13 Suite (PC) and since then I've not used anything else.
Every video you see on any of my web pages is done using Sony Vegas Movie Studio.
Choosing the best video editing software
Here's a final point I want to make about ANY software you use. Use software that allows you to get the job completed quickly and efficiently.
If the software you currently have is limiting your production quality, only then consider buying something new.
