Video Shorts – Do You Need to Jump On The Next Marketing Bandwagon?
I’ve always loved making video, so much so that back in 2010 I studied for 3 year filmmaking BA(Hons) degree graduating with top marks.
The course taught me everything about making professional videos to industry standard which helped me stand out in my marketing business.
Imagine my horror a few years ago when video shorts burst onto the scene. When kids could upload a 60-second mime video from their phone and get more social interaction in a day than I got in a good month.
Business Owners started with shorts and got the same results, which was thousands of leads and sales with mime videos on places like TikTok, Instagram & Facebook Reels and YouTube shorts.
My attitude was that I REFUSED to embrace shorts. I’m a filmmaker, who uses big cameras, big monitors and professional equipment NOT a phone…
I KNOW a lot of people are/were in my situation refusing to embrace change and new technology…
The simple fact is that by not embracing new things in marketing you ARE missing out – and in a big way too…
Thanks to some training I found in HBA Premuim I decided to get on board with short video, and fully embrace it, using my phone for the process. (And yes, I opened a TikTok account) ((No, you will never see me dancing..!))
What I found is that I can still produce my long-form professional videos but use the shorts to lead people into them. In fact, I’m developing a brand new daily process that will save me time and boost productivity too.
I still have a few things to learn about shorts, BUT if you were like me, jump off that soap box, embrace it and reap the rewards.
It’s just over 13 weeks since this project began, and week after week it continues to grow.
Currently, we’re over 425 team members, and many people are now realising the POWER of this business model.
Currently, the business has over 300,000 members, and when you consider businesses with the same business model such as Costco have over 100 million members you can start to see the real potential of this business.
