The Weekend Challenge
Last week, I spoke about the way we learn in business and we often don’t realise how much we know until we take the time to reflect. I’m the worst at this and I was shocked during the time I was studying filmmaking for my degree. I was frustrated at my lack of progress until I compared my work and realised the improvements I had made.
Understand there is huge value in celebrating your little wins. Your new subscribers, people interacting with your content on YouTube and social media, and getting your first customer. When you’re starting out those milestones are the fuel that keeps you committed to your goals.
The weekend challenge is to look for the milestones. Perhaps you have been part of this newsletter for years, or maybe this is your first one, wherever you are on your journey, you’ve probably had some little wins this week. Did you produce some content? Record a video? Gain a new subscriber? Did you learn something new?
Write those wins down. Write all those wins on a piece of paper, and when you don’t feel like doing anything, take a look at those wins. Let that be the fuel that motivates you when you don’t want to because the next win is right around the corner.
Focus on the wins MORE than when we screwed up. We all keep track of the bad things that happen, and as long as we learn from that it serves us, so keep a list of the wins and focus on creating more of those.
Currently, we’re at 606 LiveGood team members, with 6 rank advances this week in my personal team and we’re into the slower summer months.
Overall, 27,000 people joined the business this week with over $3 million paid out this week alone, with membership rising from 28,000 when I joined in February to over 480,000 today.
