Most Online Business Owners suffer from the paralysis of getting everything right before product launches and marketing campaigns. Getting things right before we launch a new campaign or product is stopping 90% of marketers from getting started in the first place. Here's what you can do about that.
For some people, there's an inherent fear about not conveying 100% of our brand and abilities. We often think that everything has to be 100% complete and perfect prior to launch.
The reality is that you don't.
Picture this
Imagine you're sitting at your desk building that webinar sales page.
The images you have on your computer are looking a bit old so you take some better images and spend some time making them look great.
You're not quite happy with the headline. You know who your target market is, but you don't want to miss out on other potential clients. So you play around with the headline, you ask your family, ask your mastermind group, then settle for something OK – but not 100% in your opinion.
After 2 weeks, the funnel is complete (except for those last videos…) ((and the actual webinar needs a bit of work))
The list can go on, and for many people, nothing gets completed or launched.
The Domino Effect
This is what I call the domino effect. Funnel pages, photos, video, social media. They are all valuable assets but they are all dominos, and they do NOT have to line up prior to a launch. Your marketing materials do NOT have to be 100% prior to launch.
As long as your funnels work technically and direct your audience properly you are good to go.
I've found that many successful business owners people launch around 80% completion, and good enough is near enough. The REASON they are successful is because they put their marketing message out there. The pendulum starts to swing, gaining subscribers and customers.
Once launched, it's much easier to test and tweak your marketing assets and materials.
Frank Kern
Frank Kern is one of the most successful and active content and course creators in the industry.
Frank is an established brand and he knows what he is doing with his content creation. Many of Frank's courses are filmed on a laptop camera and illustrated in a basic paint program. The information is 100% yet the production values are 80%. What this means is you can do the same.
The Secret To Successful Launching
As with all great marketing, there's always a big secret… (actually, there are no secrets) But to launch successfully follow the points below:
- Keep things simple – Landing page, Sales page, Thank you page & follow-ups. The simpler, the better.
- Have a time limit – Choose a launch date and stick to it.
- Eliminate fear – Stop wondering what people think about you, and what could be improved. LAUNCH, and improve things after that.
